Currently, Bethany works at Sacramento State where she in Student-Athlete Development/Advising and is the founder of Her Sports Stories a platform with a mission to connect former female athletes through storytelling to help them realign their identities post-sport and develop a professional brand after athletics.
From an early age, gymnastics played a role in helping Bethany break out of her shell. In through the good times, her athletic journey led Bethany a series of moments of burnout where she would question whether she still loved her sport. Bethany’s story is inspiring for any athlete considering life after sports and how to navigate it which guided her to create Her Sports Story.
