God Sees the Work You Do in Private – Devotional
SHARE

Genesis 50:20 (NIV)
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”

Reflection
Joseph was betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, and wrongly imprisoned. If anyone had the right to be bitter, it was him. None the less, he didn’t see his pain as the end of the story. He saw it as part of God’s plan.

Your pain is not wasted.

That injury that stole your season. That heartbreak that crushed you. That loss you’re still carrying. What the enemy meant to break you, God can use to shape you and to bless others through.

Your scars tell stories of survival. And those stories? They can give hope to people who are walking through what you’ve already survived. Like Joseph, your greatest ministry might rise from your hardest moment. Trust that nothing is a waste in God’s hands.

Application
Write down one painful experience God has redeemed, or one you’re still waiting on Him to redeem. Ask Him for purpose in your pain.

Prayer Guide
God, thank You for turning pain into purpose. Use even my wounds for Your glory and others’ good.

Reflect & Share
Share part of your story with someone who’s going through a tough season right now. Let them know that pain doesn’t have to be the end. It can be the beginning of something God uses for good.

Compete with Faith. Grow with His Word.
