2 Corinthians 4:18 (NIV)
“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
Biblical Context
Paul wrote this during a season of intense suffering. He faced rejection, beatings, and constant pressure. Even with all that, he said something bold: don’t lock your focus on what you see right now. Instead, look toward what’s eternal.
The pain, the setbacks, and the confusion you experience are temporary. But the work God builds in you through those moments lasts forever.
Reflection
We want quick results. Visible wins. But God often works in ways we can’t see. 2 Corinthians 4:18 reminds us to focus on the eternal, not just the immediate.
Spiritual growth doesn’t always show up in stats or results. But it shows in resilience, peace, and purpose. Trust that your daily obedience is building something eternal.
Your faith is more than what people see. It’s what God sees.

Take your eyes off quick results. Thank God for what He’s doing beneath the surface in your life.
