Esther 4:14 (NIV)
“And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
Biblical Context
Esther was a Jewish woman who became queen of Persia. One day, when a plot to destroy her people was set in motion, her cousin Mordecai challenged her: “Maybe this is why you’re queen. Perhaps you’re here for this exact moment.” At first, Esther was scared. Speaking up could cost her life. However, she chose courage. In the end, she stepped into her moment, and she saved her people.
Reflection
Often, opportunities don’t come with flashing signs. Instead, they appear in ordinary moments that require faith. Esther 4:14 is a challenge to recognize the significance of your moment. Right here, right now.
Remember, God placed you where you are on purpose. Therefore, don’t let fear or doubt keep you silent. Instead, rise to the moment with courage. Even when you don’t have everything figured out, still, be faithful in the now. Because ultimately, God’s timing is never accidental.
Application
Today, ask God to show you your “such a time as this” moment. Then, step into it with boldness and trust His plan.
Prayer Guide
Lord, thank You for positioning me with purpose. Please, give me courage to speak, lead, and act when You call. Help me recognize divine moments and respond with faith.
Reflect & Share
Also, encourage someone to step into their moment. Maybe they’ve been hesitating to lead, speak up, or try something new. So, remind them that God placed them where they are for a reason. Sometimes, all they need is someone to cheer them on.
Compete with Faith. Grow with His Word.
