Proverbs 10:9 (NIV)
“Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.”
Reflection
Your athletic reputation is built on what you do in the spotlight, but your spiritual character is formed in private when no one is watching.
Integrity means being the same person on and off the field. It means honoring your commitments, treating others with respect, and living truthfully even when shortcuts seem tempting. Proverbs teaches us that walking in integrity brings security not only from consequences, but from guilt, fear, and regret.
In a culture that celebrates winning at all costs, God calls us to something higher: walking uprightly even when it’s unpopular. Integrity might not always get you noticed, but it will always keep you anchored.
Application
Reflect on one area where your private life may not align with your public image.
Ask God for the strength to realign with integrity.
Today Let’s Compete with Faith. Grow with His Word.
