Galatians 6:9 (NIV)
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Biblical Context
Paul wrote to believers in Galatia who were tired and worn out. They’d been doing the right things: serving, loving, staying faithful, but they weren’t seeing results. So Paul reminded them: don’t quit. The harvest is coming. Your faithfulness matters, even when it feels like it doesn’t.
Reflection
Some days, it’s hard to keep going.
You show up to practice, do the work, love people, pray, stay disciplined. And still, it feels like nothing’s changing.
But here’s what God wants you to know: your faithfulness is not wasted.
The harvest may not come tomorrow. But it is coming. God sees your daily discipline, your quiet acts of obedience, and your unseen sacrifices. Seeds take time to grow. Breakthrough doesn’t happen on your schedule. But it happens. Your consistency is your worship.
Don’t let weariness rob you of your harvest. When it gets hard, go back to why you started. And remember Who called you.
Application
Think of one thing God has called you to do, even if you’re not seeing results yet. Commit to doing it today with joy. Not because it’s easy, but because it’s faithful.
Prayer Guide
Father, help me not to grow tired of doing good. Strengthen me when I feel discouraged and remind me that You are working even when I can’t see it.
Reflect & Share
Tell someone who’s been faithful in the small things that their effort matters. Let them know you see it.
Compete with Faith. Grow with His Word.
