Exodus 14:14 (NIV)
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Reflection
Athletes are trained to grind, hustle, and push harder. But sometimes, the bravest move is to be still and let God work.
When the Israelites were trapped between the Egyptian army and the sea, God didn’t tell them fight harder. He told them to be still. He would do the fighting.
You don’t have to force every outcome or open every door yourself. Sometimes faith looks like stepping back and trusting that God is already at work.
Let your stillness be an act of confidence, not weakness.
Application
Think of one situation where you’re trying too hard to control the outcome. Surrender it in prayer and let God take the lead.
Today Let’s Compete with Faith. Grow with His Word.
