Hebrews 10:24–25 (NIV)
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds… encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Biblical Context
The writer of Hebrews spoke to believers who felt worn out and ready to quit. So he urged them to stay connected instead of pulling away. He encouraged them to support each other, build each other up, and push one another toward love and good works. They needed each other, and honestly, we do too. When discouragement hits, community makes the difference.
Reflection
Your words carry weight. Hebrews 10 reminds us that encouragement isn’t just nice, it’s necessary.
In a world of criticism and competition, a teammate who encourages others stands out. Whether it’s a pat on the back, a text, or a kind word, your encouragement can shift someone’s entire mindset.
Speak life. You never know who needs it.
Application
Encourage someone today with intention. Be specific. Call out the good you see in them.
Prayer Guide
Lord, help me be a source of encouragement. Show me who needs support and let my words build them up.
Reflect & Share
Think about someone who encouraged you when you needed it most, reach out and thank them. Then pass it on by encouraging someone else today.
Compete with Faith. Grow with His Word.
