Proverbs 3:5–6 (NIV)
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Reflection
Talent is a gift, but trust is a choice.
It’s tempting to rely on your skills, strategy, or sports IQ. But Proverbs reminds us that the real win comes from submitting your plans to God.
Sometimes the playbook changes. The offer falls through. The game doesn’t go how you planned. That’s where trust kicks in.
Don’t lean on what you know. Lean on Who you know.
Application
Pray this simple prayer before you go to sleep tonight: “God, I trust You with my future more than I trust myself.”
Compete with Faith. Grow with His Word.
