Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV)
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Reflection
Every athlete faces lonely moments: moving to a new team, rehabbing from an injury, sitting out, or feeling like no one understands what you’re going through. But God does.
Deuteronomy 31 reminds us that courage doesn’t come from confidence in ourselves. It comes from knowing God is with us. You’re never walking alone, even in your darkest moments. He’s there. In the locker room, on the bench, in the silence.
Let that truth fuel your strength today.
Application
Before you train or compete today, thank God for walking with you. Ask Him to help you sense His presence in everything you do.
Compete with Faith. Grow with His Word.
