TRX Training
On this weeks training session, we are going to be using a TRX. If you do not own one you can do regular pushups and inverted rows instead. I do recommend getting a TRX because of the versatility and portability of it. For those of us that need to travel often but do not have a way to get a good training session in the TRX is a great option! TRX training is a great way to get a workout on the road. It is also a great workout period. Athletes looking to add some more training with the little impact this is a great avenue to go down!
TRX ROW x 20
The TRX row is a great movement go beginners. It is amazing for developing a strong upper back. Simple move your feet closer to the anchor point to make it harder or step further away from the anchor point to make it easier.
TRX Pushup x 20
The TRX Pushup can be difficult because of the free movements of the straps. It is basically like doing ring pushups. It is great for developing the shoulder girdle. Just like all these movements, if you want to make the movement easy step away from the attachment point and if you want it harder step toward the attachment point.
TRX Bicep Curl x 20
The Trx bicep curl is a burner. It is great for getting a good bicep work out. These will make you question why you are doing them but the pump is amazing afterward! Remember to make the easy step away, make it harder step toward.
TRX Tricep Extension x 20
This movement is just as brutal as the bicep curl. The smaller muscles of the arms have to work way harder to move your body weight than the bigger muscles do that is why the TRX is a great tool for developing strength in your arms! I know I sound like a broken record, step away it makes it easier. Step Toward it makes it harder.
